Who am I?

I’ve been helping people with their marketing for over 25 years. Started out in Big Corporate and eventually worked my way up to Marketing Director, heading up some of the biggest brands in UK financial services.

In 2013 I decided to leave Big Corporate and set up my own consultancy to help smaller companies to use digital marketing to grow their businesses. When I started out companies had to spend a small fortune on putting together content – for example, a video to promote their businesses. But now it’s much cheaper and easier.

But it can be a mistake to dive right in with video, audio, social media or other digital tactics. You need a strategy first and that’s how I help the companies I work with. Keeping strategy simple. Setting goals. Developing an offer. Setting up marketing activity.

I’m also a popular international speaker. I’ve taken my talks on “Fighting Complexity in Marketing” and “Engage Don’t Enrage “ talks around the UK and Europe and at virtual events during the pandemic. I’ve appeared on stage at CMA Live in Edinburgh, Youprenuer Summit in London, Network Marketing in Montenegro, Forum Media in Prague, AllWeb in Macedonia and appears at corporate conferences in the UK.

During 2020, I adapted my talks and workshops for the virtual world as a result of the pandemic. I can appear live, as a pre-recorded session or a combination of both.
